Rorschmap: James Bridle’s Google Map kaleidoscope

We don’t recommend looking at James Bridle’s beautiful Rorschmap kaleidoscopes unless you have nothing planned for the rest of the day.  They’re mesmerising.

We love the way they make you see your city, your suburb, iconic landmarks or even your house in a new and abstract light and notice patterns of density, greenery and buildings as strangely organic forms emerge and disappear.  I think my neighbourhood looks like a beautiful green beetle.
